Follow clues around the world to apprehend Interpol’s most cunning criminals. The long awaited sequel to the #1 hit is finally here, featuring an all-new story and investigations in San Francisco, Cairo, Barcelona and more! Capture criminals around the world!“Interpol 2: Most Wanted” is the second edition of this series and, for those who know the previous edition, here’s a commentary: there are no many changes in this version, not even in the interface design. In Interpol 2: Most Wanted you’ll be representing an Interpol detective, solving numerous and difficult missions assigned to you. Everything in the game is designed carefully creating a realistic atmosphere. The graphics design, the music and sounds, the words implemented, everything is as you were in fact an Interpol detective. At the introduction to the game you’ll be receiving a letter from the Director of Intelligence Operations from Interpol. The letter says that three of most wanted criminals – the so called Troika – have recently been sighted around the world. The criminals go by the code names of The Collector, Mr. Nobody, and The Siren. You must find and bring all of them to justice for their crimes.
Beyond the story, the game could be categorized into the “seek & find” category. There are lots of games alike but this one is different from others since its particular stage and interface. The game basically consists in looking for hidden objects in messy scenes. You’ll be provided with a list of items to find per scene. Completing a mission includes to find items in several different scenes. There are some hints available for you to use if you get stuck at any time. Of course, these hints are limited and will cost you a few points in your score.
When you first enter the game, you’ll be asked for a player name and then you’ll get to the main menu with the following options on it:
- Change Alias: the first time there’s no existing player. After you create one or more, they’ll be saved. When you enter into this submenu, you’ll be asked for a name as a new player. It’s possible to have a list of different profiles and record their performance. This way, you can play home tournaments with family and friends.
- Investigate: to start playing the first round of the game, after viewing a game introduction.
- Interface Options: this is the menu from which you can set some game options like sound volume, music volume, and full/windowed screen.
- Top Agents: a high scores like screen.
- Exit facility: to close the game and go back to the Windows desktop.
